On a short trip not long ago, searching for inspiration, I traveled to a small cluster of islands called the Faroe Islands. There, little flocks of sheep live everywhere, side by side with people, wandering between the most beautiful old houses you can imagine. I couldn't stop watching them. When I came home, I made this film. And as I shaped these woolly faces, something unexpected happened - the sheep began to remind me of old friends, of people I've loved, of memories I thought I'd quietly tucked away. They felt like family. Honestly, all I wanted was to hold one of them, just once, and tell it everything was alright. So this is what I made: a soft, surreal world for anyone who has lived long enough to carry a few quiet burdens - and still deserves a gentle place to set them down. In this Sheep Heaven, the kingdom isn't only a kingdom. It's a sanctuary of mercy, where time slows, dignity stays whole, and no one is ever forgotten. Where something already knew your name, long before you arrived. If the world has been moving too fast, I hope this feels like a warm chair by the window - a calm moment that honors everything you've been through. These two songs only had room for about 180 of those moments - so there are still so many images I haven't been able to show you yet.
