Walking at dawn through Nara Park, famous for its sacred deer and traditional Japanese temples, with autumn foliage at its peak in Nara, Japan. We start on the edge of the park with a few deer stirring in the early dawn light by a collection of traditional Japanese inns. From there we walk down to a small pond with a picturesque pavilion, trees with brilliant red foliage, and a gathering of photographers waiting for the sunrise over the pond. This is just the first taste of autumn color and deer, as we make our way through a large grassy meadow with more deer and photographers, before breaking away from the crowds by the iconic Todaiji Temple and its surrounding structures. It is a beautiful morning in a beautiful location, I hope you enjoy it and the season is treating you well.
