I wanted to challenge myself by blending traditional filmmaking techniques with AI-powered storytelling in one of my favorite genres—horror. This short film is an experiment in atmosphere, tension, and fear, inspired by the work of James Wan, one of my favorite directors and a major influence in the horror space. Story: When a matriarch witch of a powerful Black lineage teaches her daughter to cross into the spirit world, a forbidden ritual goes wrong—and a demonic entity follows the girl back, threatening to destroy their bloodline forever. This AI-assisted horror short pushes the boundaries of what storytelling can look like when technology and cinematic craft collide. Every shot, sound, and moment of silence was designed to build unease and keep you guessing.
