For decades, Walt Disney World once had a tropical oasis in the middle of the Vacation Kingdom, their own zoological attraction that was beloved by guests and employees alike. However by the late 90's, the company had shuttered it for good and instead of demolishing it and moving on, the island remained completely intact. Decades after that, the urban legends of its existence spread, becoming one of the most infamous abandoned locations in North America. So, for this very special 100th episode of Abandoned, let's take another look at this incredible abandoned Disney location and find out how it was ultimately, abandoned.
