METRO 2039 | Release Date Reveal & First Console Gameplay Trailer
20264 phút
We’re thrilled to finally announce that METRO 2039 is set to launch on all platforms on February 4th 2027!*
In addition, we can confirm that a 60FPS Performance Mode with ray tracing support will be available at launch for the Xbox Series X™, PlayStation® 5 and PlayStation® 5 Pro consoles.
We’ll be sharing much more about the technology, specs and different modes powering all editions of METRO 2039 in the months between now and release.
In the meantime, we’ve just released the very first console gameplay footage of METRO 2039. Featured as part of Sony’s State of Play showcase, all footage in the trailer below was captured on the PlayStation® 5 Pro at 60FPS in Performance Mode.
(* Available February 5th in some territories including Asia, Australia & New Zealand.)
Although METRO 2039 is first and foremost a story-rich FPS, we wanted our first console footage to focus on raw gameplay, environmental detail, kinetic combat, and the technological advances that have been made since 2019’s METRO Exodus.
By combining the very latest hardware developments with our proprietary 4A Engine, METRO 2039 is the first game in the series to be built from the ground-up for ray tracing. Add in nearly two decades of experience crafting METRO games, and we’ve been able to bring our bleak but beautiful world to life like never before.
We still have so much more to show - including delving deeper into The Stranger, his journey into the dark heart of Moscow, and his true mission.
