I spent almost two full weeks working on this film - the longest time I’ve ever taken on a single episode. Quite a few early drafts didn’t work out and ended up in the trash before this final version finally felt right. The music was the hardest part for me. I spent a whole week creating these three original songs. I wrote each one to arrive at the right moment in the story, like serving a good meal course by course. Even though the second song is actually my favorite, I held it back on purpose. I wanted the music to unfold slowly and naturally instead of giving everything away at the start. While I was creating the old windmill scenes, those turning blades quietly reminded me of Don Quixote - that kind-hearted dreamer who kept believing in beauty no matter what. That gentle feeling somehow found its way into the film. In this chapter, we return to the harvest season in our strange but kind little town. The fields seem to remember every hand that ever worked them. Elders walk the rows at their own steady pace, lanterns light the quiet roads, the Harvest Moon Parade passes by, and later everyone gathers together because… everybody eats tonight. I’ve never been one to chase the newest trends. While many younger creators look for something brand new every time, I prefer coming back to familiar themes and exploring them a little deeper each time. That’s exactly why this town keeps growing and why Part 6 - and more chapters- are still coming. If you watch until the end, I truly hope the film brings back a quiet memory for you - maybe of your own harvest season, a small-town evening, or a time when people simply came together to share food and good company.
