This summer has been filled with food recall after food recall. The cyclospora parasite has caused some 30,000 illnesses. At other times in history, that would have sparked Congressional hearings and investigations. But not today.
Helena Bottemiller Evich, the founder and editor-in-chief of Food Fix, spoke to Vox about the recent recalls and what, if anything, the U.S. government can do to keep our food safe.
