A morning walk through cosmos flower fields in the countryside of Hyogo, Japan. Cosmos flowers are often planted in rice fields between growing seasons and I've seen many smaller patches here and there this fall, but these fields are the biggest I have seen...so far. There were a few refreshment stands near the temple where we start our walk, preparation for the visitors to come I imagine. On the walk I saw a few locals out walking, some with dogs, and some without. There were also a few photographers taking advantage of the seasonal flower bloom and the morning mist on the landscape.
