The hike itself was stunning a northward weave through some of the most peaceful and charming areas of East Staffordshire on a glorious spring day, and useful too - providing my legs with some much needed miles for ambitious upcoming adventures. Along the way I rescue a distressed lamb, meet some lovely locals and unearth a few nuggets of history. As the journey neared it's end however, a nervousness came over me. Drayton manor and it's familiar, nostalgic tunnel was one thing, but this was Britain's biggest theme park we were talking about and I really didn't know what to expect. If I wanted to pull off a successful mission and avoid the humiliation of capture for this now dad of 2, all of my stealth and experience would surely have to be implemented...
