This Deep Dive takes a closer look at Genigods: Nezha, a hardcore action RPG rooted in ancient Chinese creation mythology. Players embody the Spirit Pearl, the first life forged by the goddess Nüwa, before being reincarnated as Nezha. The adventure features enormous gods to battle and climb, ground and aerial combat, the Fire-Tipped Spear and Wind Fire Wheels, mythic relic combinations, and a reactive combat system built around precise parries and counters.
Developed by Genigods Lab using Unreal Engine 5, Genigods: Nezha sends players on a journey to mend the shattered sky, uncover the truth behind the Spirit Pearl’s origins, and seal spacetime rifts threatening the world. The game is currently announced for PlayStation 5 and PC, with its release date still to be determined on its official store listings.
