And then, far down in the dark, the Sunken Palaces: an Art Nouveau capital still thriving at the bottom of the ocean, its domes and iron vines glowing across the abyss. We stay while the plaza is still lit. Then we climb, and the harbour is waiting exactly where we left it. Retrofutura is the timeline where the wars never came and the Belle Époque never ended: a world where progress stayed beautiful and travel was something you savoured. Every voyage is a return ticket to that world. No dialogue, no hurry, only the score and the pressure of the water on the hull.
