This guy on Twitter started a company which takes the spinner that you see on Claude Code and makes it into ad space. So essentially instead of it saying "Thinking" or "Discombobulating" the user sees a one line advertisement from companies that pay half a buck for 1000 five second views. The person who sees the ad on Claude Code gets half of that money too. And it's legit, some have reported making up to $40 a month from it. But I don't think it will last. Not only because some people could fake ad views but because Anthropic's completely against pushing ads to the public. They did a whole Super Bowl commercial on not being sellouts. Which is exactly why people will trust whatever products or services Claude does show in its chat. But you can still make money out of this. All you need to do is ensure Claude recommends you, your product, or your service.
