Why some of America’s wild horses are being slaughtered 2 분 Hello :) This AI art video blends hundreds of retro-futurist Tokyo scenes, animated using the brand-new Hailuo 2.0. It’s designed to help you relax, fall asleep, get work done, or simply enjoy the stylish cyberpunk retro-sci-fi visuals. The soundtrack mixes synthwave, vaporwave, cyberpunk textures, and touches of traditional music for a bold contrast with the visuals. Process — I used MidJourney to generate thousands of futuristic images from text prompts, selected and retouched my favorites, then animated each image one by one with Hailuo 2.0’s image-to-video + text-driven motion (most scenes took several reruns to get right). Finally, I did a manual montage in Premiere Pro and tried my best to sync every cut and on-screen action to the music. This project is inspired by classics like Godzilla, Akira, Gantz, Dragon Ball, Ghost in the Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and the broader traditions of cyberpunk & mecha. I mainly used Hailuo AI image to video model for the animation. In the underbelly, gangs and renegade pilots clash with AI-enhanced mechs and superhuman tech.
