Rather than constantly pushing the player into combat, the game creates much of its fear through its atmosphere, environmental storytelling, puzzles, stealth and encounters where avoiding a threat can be just as important as confronting it. This gameplay showcases exploration through the unsettling environments, story moments, puzzle-solving, enemy encounters and the CRTV mechanic used to uncover strange signals and detect nearby dangers. Combat is also present, but the focus of Townfall is much more on psychological horror, suspense and surviving what is hiding in the fog. #SilentHillTownfall #SilentHill #HorrorGaming
