His attempts to stop it become increasingly obsessive and absurd, until he discovers there may be a reason behind its strange behavior. Context — Why this project exists The project began with a simple, absurd image: a sheep standing on the roof of a rural house. From there, the story grew around the idea of a man desperately trying to solve a problem he doesn’t fully understand. The film explores obsession, control, and our tendency to fight against things before understanding them, using humor and a very simple rural conflict. Narrative — Story, message, and audience The story follows a gaucho whose daily routine is repeatedly interrupted by a sheep that keeps returning to the roof of his house. What begins as a minor inconvenience slowly becomes an obsession, pushing him toward increasingly extreme and absurd solutions. The film is built as a visual comedy with no dialogue, gradually shifting toward something more emotional as the real reason behind the sheep’s behavior is revealed. Visuals — References, mood, color palette, creative direction The visual language is grounded in the Argentine countryside: open landscapes, weathered rural architecture, natural textures, horses, sheep, wood, dirt and grass. The camera remains observational and cinematic, often using wide compositions that allow the absurdity to exist naturally within the frame. The palette is earthy and muted, with warm natural light gradually giving way to colder, darker tones as the storm approaches. The humor is treated seriously: the world remains realistic even when the situations become absurd. Production — Schedule, locations, crew, and logistics The film is being developed as an AI-assisted production, with characters, locations and visual continuity designed before and during the animation. The workflow combines image generation, character and location references, shot planning, AI video generation, sound design and final editing. Particular attention is being given to maintaining consistency across the gaucho, the sheep, the house and the surrounding landscape throughout the film.
