Why 9/11 memes are everywhere 2 min The Last of Us Remastered already delivers one of gaming’s most memorable post-apocalyptic journeys, but this experimental DLSS 5 visual treatment gives Joel, Ellie and the ruined world an entirely different cinematic presentation. This gameplay showcase highlights The Last of Us Remastered with DLSS 5, focusing on character detail, lighting, environments, vegetation, infected encounters, combat and cinematic story moments. From Joel and Ellie’s facial detail and clothing to abandoned cities, dark interiors and overgrown environments, DLSS 5 gives the game a dramatically enhanced cinematic presentation. I personally played, recorded and edited all of the gameplay featured in this video. The footage was visually processed on PC using an RTX 5090 32GB with the experimental DLSS 5 visual treatment enabled. This is an experimental DLSS 5-enhanced presentation and should not be interpreted as official native DLSS 5 support for The Last of Us Remastered.
