Walking through Snow Lantern Festival in Kayabuki no Sato | Miyama, Japan
202659 دقیقه
Kayabuki no Sato is a small village in Miyama, a mountainous region in northern Kyoto, Japan. I have visited this village a few times over the years but this was my first time in the winter. I heard there was a Snow Lantern Festival and thought it would be a nice chance to walk through in the snow at sunset with a bit more light in the village thanks to the lanterns as night fell. It was a bit crowded due to winter illumination, but I hope the traditional thatched roof houses and snowy mountain landscape shine through.
