Man Restores Rusty 1950s Pedal Tractor Back To Life | Start To Finish By @RestoreIt
2026 min
Today, what began as a corroded collection of 1950s steel is now returning to life as a complete, functional machine.
This tractor was originally built to be played with, to let a child pedal forward, steer across the garden and imagine operating a real piece of farm machinery. By restoring the movement, the seat, the steering and the wheels, Steve is also restoring that sense of freedom and excitement.
The finished Tri-ang Major becmoes more than an object to admire. It can once again deliver the simple joy it was designed for: climbing onto the seat, gripping the steering wheel and setting the tractor in motion under pedal power.
We really mean it: tons of emotional weight.
