I chose summer - golden fields, long evening light, and the people who have lived enough years to truly understand it. Somewhere in the middle of that work, something happened that I didn't plan for. Each one had its own beauty, and I was only allowed to keep one. Then one evening, "We Kept the Sun" came on while the light was fading outside my window, and I stopped searching. Some songs don't ask to be chosen. They just stay. The other three songs won't appear in the next episodes. It feels a little like leaving good friends behind. But if life allows, Spring, Autumn and Winter are still ahead of us - the paintings take an unbelievable amount of time, and so does the music. I think you'd tell me the good things usually do. This film is for everyone who has outlasted their share of storms and can still stand in the evening light, hold a familiar hand, and call it gold. You didn't just survive the fire.
