Every outfit you'll see was inspired by 1960s–70s design, then reimagined with a breath of today - so in each piece you'll feel two eras dancing together: the boldness of then, the softness of now. The hardest part was making each look feel true to 1968 and true to right now, both at once. My quiet hope is that just one of them might inspire you to tailor a little something of your own. And I'll share a small secret: one of these outfits was designed after my mother. One morning the sunlight came through the fabric and reflected across the room, and for just a moment… I felt her right there beside me. Let me be honest about the making, too. I first dreamed up three songs and 210 outfits. I narrowed it down to the 130 I loved most… and in the end, only 117 made it into this film. So there's one more song, and a few more looks, still waiting quietly in the wings. If this little world finds a place in your heart, I'll gladly bring you Part Two.
